- Very hot or boiling water
- Degreasing dish soap (Dawn works very well)
- Blistering soda
- Non-annoying scrub castor
- Paper towels or dish cloth

- Remove the filters from the hood: Almost filters should easily slide or pop out of the underside of the hood. Mine had a metal loop I could grab to push the filter upwards and slide it out.
- Make full a sink or bucket with humid water: The hotter the water, the more effective. Depending on how hot you can get the h2o from your tap, that might exist good plenty. For me, I boiled water in my electrical tea kettle, and poured that into the sink.
